one of our most popular events, this annual “State of the Market” Forum brings together three of its key “movers and shakers” representing the Lloyd’s and Company markets and the London broking community. As it can be a challenge for NEDS who are not working day to day in an executive role to stay abreast of market developments, the assessment of these three leaders as to where we are as we approach the January renewal season and the onset of a new decade is sure to be of considerable interest.

We have asked John, Malcolm and Dominic to interpret the brief widely to embrace any and all market developments they consider of relevance from the drive to improve underwriting profitability and reduce costs, to the “Future at Lloyd’s” and the various market modernisation initiatives, the outlook for trading conditions, capacity and pricing and even, if they must, Brexit!
