RETHINKING REPUTATIONAL RISK:
HOW TO MANAGE THE RISKS THAT CAN RUIN YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR REPUTATION AND YOU

An explanation of the role of reputation in success and failure and what makes reputational risk a powerful lens through which to evaluate corporate resilience.

Keynote Speaker

Anthony Fitzsimmons: Chairman of Reputability LLP

Reputability is a leading consultancy for educating Boards and senior leaders about the importance of behavioural, organisational and reputational risks, and guiding them in how to respond to these issues. Anthony Fitzsimmons, will base his presentation on Reputability's blend of research, experience and expertise.

Learning Objectives:

  • To understand the real nature of "reputation" and "reputational risk"
  • To develop an appreciation as to how these concepts, and the risks that underlie them, can be used to evaluate and strengthen resilience
  • To gain insight into the barriers that can mask such risks in a NED's own organisation – and how to overcome them
  • To consider how incorporating these risks can enhance the value of the ORSA to the Board of Directors
  • To explore how these risks might also be used to enhance the underwriting of liability and D&O underwriting

This Forum will be dedicated to the memory of the late Professor Derek Atkins (WCI Liveryman / Cass Business School)
